The first womens ranker for 2010!

Seventeen girls played in the round robin format with Lauren winning the day with 30 points.

Not far behind Kerri "Aust Team 2010"and Kirsty T on 24 pts. Sharron, Nicole and BJ just two away on 20 pts, but a long way from the 30 pts Lauren knocked in.

The first open ranker for the year, 68 players and a few key absentee's. Rusty and Listy were not sighted at the QLD ranker, Bronson and Shannon also fronted up after some time away. Steve, Barry, Pat and Ian were the only noteworthy state players that finished in the top twenty

The doping policy has changed!

With the beginning of 2010 just around the corner, there are some changes in the anti-doping world that you need to know about.

The first of particular note is that the new Prohibited List has been released, and will come into effect on 1 January 2010. https://checksubstances.asada.gov.au/

On another note, I’m really pleased about ASADA’s new website. If you’ve not yet seen it, visit www.asada.gov.au. Some of the feedback we received from athletes and support personnel in June this year was that information on the old website could be a bit tricky to find. So we’ve taken that on board, and have created a new website, that is interactive and very easy to navigate.

Queensland Womens Team 2009: Australian Champions!

What a fantasic effort ro defeat SA in the final,

Irene, Jess and Temple were first time starters in the Queensland Team and it goes to show the strength of the Queensland ladies on the Australian circuit.

Congrads to Kerri Collins for being selected in the Australian Team to travel to England in 2010.

I think we all knew that we had a good chance of winning the masters.

Queensland Open Team 2009: 4th

What a gallant effort. The 2009 nationals showed that all states were getting more and more competitve, well maybe not NT. there were a lot of draws and very close finishes in a lot of matches.

It's time to step up and be weighed and measure. The three Aussie players Rusty, Adam, Brent and not too forget both Craig and Barry jnr for their superiror polished match perforances.

If they ever start to record Master-Outs, that is you break and they pot out. You would see a least 4 or 5 in every match the Queensland Boys played.

Adam List; 8 master breaks and 3 against (1 was by a 13 kid from Tassy), mate you are a true champion. A lot of players walked in cold after being benched, but they always gave 110%. Great Effort.
