Great start to the season with 30 competitors at Q-Masters for the first womens south east zone ranking event for the new 2008 season. Some of the big guns were absent Tanya A, Sue Mc (Aussie Team Player, well she will have a wild card into the last 26) and Sammy T.

Tassy is the destination for the 2008 Australian Eight Ball Championships in late October and its looking like one of the better venues we have played at. I will post the play off results in the next few days………………… Prez

QUEENSLAND continues to lead the men's open teams competition after the third day's play in the 25th Australian Eightball Championships, being played at the Country Club Tasmania.

Queensland drew with South Australia 12-12 in yesterday afternoon's round but maintains a three-point break at the top of the table with five wins from six matches and 11 points.

Team Queensland, the pink ribbon team!

  Team Queensland are moving in a different direction in 2008 by offering there support to acknowledge awareness of International Brest Cancer Day on Monday 27th October. Which just happening to coincide with the opening day of The Australian Eight Ball Championship in Launceston, Tasmania. We have decided too spruce up our state shirts with a soft splash of PINK instead of the usually Maroon. Team Queensland comprises of a travelling team of 30 players and officials whom will be sporting the new look PINK RIBBON State shirts for the ten days of the national event.
