Congrats to the 2009 City Country Womens Champions: Brisbane Districts 8 v City 8 Ball 7 The Brisbane team finished equal second after the round robin and had to played the the Gold Coast City womens team in the semi finals. This was only the second time Gold Coast City had entered a womens team. The grand final was a great match up of state player verse state player. City 8 Ball have won the womens event 7 times from the last eleven, so it was a big effort to defeat a well seasoned City team. Well done to
Congrats to the 2009 City Country A Grade Champions: Gold Coast 10 defeating City 8 Ball 5 The Gold Coast Team finished second after the round robin and had to play a strong Brisbane team in the semi finals. The Gold Coast had John Wheeler and Brent Read who are both traveling to England in a few weeks to play in the Australian Team at Blackpool, London. Well done to all the players from Gold Coast.
