ZONE EVENTS
1. For SEQ Players of Country v City B & C grades above a certain % (66.66%) must play a grade higher for all state events in the following year.
2. The Player of the Carnival award will go to the player on most wins: in the event of a tie, the player on the highest percentage; and if still tied, the player winning the most frames in the final/s playoff if applicable. To be eligible for Player of the Carnival a player may only miss a maximum of 3 frames, not all from the same match.
3. SEQ Team entries to the Country v City event will not be accepted unless the full affiliation fees for an Association are paid by the April meeting of QEBF.
4. Team names, relevant grade lists and fees must be forwarded to the Tournament Director (fees to the Treasurer) by the end of the second week in May.
5. SEQ – unruly behaviour penalty system
Any verified report or Committee witnessed example will incur a yellow card penalty.
Two such yellow cards in a calendar year will incur a fine of $200 before any further participation in QEBF events. A further breach will warrant automatic exclusion from all events for that year with a $200 fine for readmission to events of the following year.

The south east zone are hosting city v country at the SurfAir on Marcoola, (Sunshine Coast). If all goes well the same venue will host the seq city country again in 2012 followed by the Australian Eight Ball Championships in October 2012. THe event will be held in two ajoining rooms with eight tables in each. Rumour also has it that there will be several cameras recording most of the matches on some of the tables.
With the sponsorship package provided by SurfAir "all teams will stay onsite at the resort". This is a prerequisite of participating at the 2011 seq city v country.

Congrats to the 2009 City Country A Grade Champions: Gold Coast 10 defeating City 8 Ball 5
The Gold Coast Team finished second after the round robin and had to play a strong Brisbane team in the semi finals. The Gold Coast had John Wheeler and Brent Read who are both traveling to England in a few weeks to play in the Australian Team at Blackpool, London. Well done to all the players from Gold Coast. (Brent Read, Joe Seovic, Wayne Randall, Geoff Atkinson, Jason Casey, John Wheeler, Dave Wass and Mick Green.)
Congrats to the 2009 City Country B Grade Player of the Carnival: Brent Read from Gold Coast 19 wins from 24 frames.
The Presidents encouragement award goes to: Travis Martin from the City 8 Ball Team who holds the highest percentage 87.5% 7 wins from 8 frames.

Congrats to the 2009 City Country Womens Champions: Brisbane Districts 8 v City 8 Ball 7
The Brisbane team finished equal second after the round robin and had to played the the Gold Coast City womens team in the semi finals. This was only the second time Gold Coast City had entered a womens team. The grand final was a great match up of state player verse state player. City 8 Ball have won the womens event 7 times from the last eleven, so it was a big effort to defeat a well seasoned City team. Well done to all the players from Brisbane Districts. (Kerri Collins, Nicole Fielding, BJ Borowicz, Mel Gillard, Kerry Spengler and Tracey Wessling.)
Congrats to the 2009 City Country B Grade Player of the Carnival: Lauren Jelly of City 8 Ball and Kerri Collins from Brisbane Districts who both had 23 wins from 27 frames.
The Presidents encouragement award goes to: Jessica Woods from the Gold Coast City Team who at 15 years of age shoot 59.25% 16 wins from 27 frames.

The City Team finished second after the round robin and had to play last year champions, the Gold Coast in the semi finals. The grand final saw a well disciplined City team take every advantage of any mistakes made by Norths. Well done to all the players from City. (Tristan Claridge, Bennon Anderson , James Haining, Christos Christodoulou, Sean Field, Aliesha Mancktelow, Mike Martin and Steve Dair.)

The Sunshine Coast Team finished second after the round robin and had to play a strong Gold Coast C grade team in the semi finals. The grand finals was a match up between the old and the new. City 8 Ball were the champs 4 times out of the last 5 years. Well done to all the players from the Sunny Coast. That is why we Supply the Queensland Eight Ball Federation with competition tables and many of their players buy from us. We are renowned for great to play and perfectly true and level. To achieve this we use quality materials and designs, many of which are exclusive to us. We are proud of what we do, but we do not set out to exaggerate or deceive. The billiard, pool and snooker tables are made in our factory, where ever possible using Australian materials and labour. We guarantee all our billaird tables with specific waranties for the types of problems that occur with many tables. We also give a general warranty to cover manufacturing faults. Our promise to you is that when you get one of our billiard tables it will perform as a billiard, snooker or pool table should regardless of price. It will play true, the bounce will be good, it will be built strong.
